The basis of good dental health
To us at Länstandvården, you can come for regular dental examinations where we look at your teeth and make sure that they are in good condition. We remove plaque and potential tartar, thus preventing dental diseases such as caries and tooth loss. Your own dental care is the most important piece of the puzzle in a good dental health, and together with regular examinations, you give your teeth the best chance to feel good and to last a lifetime.
How often should you visit the dentist?
How often you should visit us depends on your general dental health and how well you take care of your teeth. The strength of the teeth is hereditary, for example, some have a greater tendency to get tartar more often than others, which of course increases the risk of caries. Therefore, some do well with a visit every two years, while others need to come in every six months. We always give you a recommendation and individual assessment of when your next visit should be, but in the end, of course, it is you who decides.
